Level Acquisition Course

Do you already have some knowledge of a language? Or would you like to learn a language from scratch? In this course, you’ll get to know the fundamentals of a language. You will systematically learn vocabulary and establish the essential grammatical framework pertaining to your desired level.

Depending on language and level, the course is provided in self-study (Weg 1) or in group lessons (Weg 3) format. Take our placement test and start at the right course level for you.

Intensive Course

Do you want to improve your language skills in a short space of time? Would you like to improve language skills such as ‘listening comprehension’, ‘spoken expression’, ‘reading comprehension’ and ‘written expression’ in a given language? While at the same time arming yourself for the language challenges of your workplace?

Our intensive course will improve your language skills. You’ll spend approximately two hours per day at home in self-study preparing for each lesson. You’ll be able to draw on various learning media, such as AKAD lessons, Web Teacher, the Vocabulary Trainer and Online Tests. During lessons, you’ll consolidate and apply what you’ve learnt in practical language tasks based on everyday business situations.

Diploma Course

Are you aiming for an internationally recognised qualification in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian or Chinese? Our diploma courses will prepare you specifically for an internationally recognised language diploma.

The diploma courses are systematically designed according to the AKAD Method. In the initial learning stage, you will acquire essential language knowledge and abilities as well as vocabulary and grammar. Afterwards – in the Exam Training – you will prepare intensively for the diploma exam.

Exam Training

Do you already have a solid knowledge of a language? In the Exam Training, you’ll prepare intensively for the exam for an internationally recognised diploma. The exam will be conducted by an external examination center.

With the help of a series of tests and specific learning materials, you’ll practise for a successful exam. At the same time, you’ll learn proven exam strategies. An internal preliminary exam, which simulates the written diploma exam, rounds off the course and will boost your confidence.

Should you fail the exam against all expectations, you can repeat the Exam Training free of charge, provided that you attended 80% of the training and were recommended for the exam.

Conversation Course

Have you recently been awarded a language diploma? Would you like to exercise your language skills? In our conversation courses, you’ll hone your spoken fluency building on your basic knowledge of grammar. Through extremely varied topics, you’ll expand your vocabulary and refresh your grammatical knowledge. Courses are held on a weekly basis. Depending on the number of participants, you will have the choice of up to three course times per week.
