Rhaeto-Romanic

Rhaeto-Romanic is spoken in parts of the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It has been a national language of Switzerland (alongside German, French and Italian) since 1938. However, Rhaeto-Romanic is restricted in its function as an official language of the federal government;although all citizens have the right to address the federal government and receive a response in Rhaeto-Romanic, not all laws are automatically passed in Rhaeto-Romanic. In 1982, the five regional dialects were merged into a standard/homogeneous written language, the Romansh ‘Grischun’.

Eating in Greece

In Greece, you can eat in a "tavérna" or an "estiatorón". In an "ouzerí" or "medzopolíon" appetisers and light dishes are served with "oúzo". In contrast, you won't be able to get a hot meal in a "kafeníon". This is where you go to drink coffee, play cards and swap news.
